Careers at Perstorp

How do you plan to change the world?

Most people dream about making a difference, and fear a life of boredom and uselessness. There are many ways to change the world – becoming a chemist is one of them.

Chemistry is all around us. It’s everywhere. By learning to control molecules, you can learn to control just about anything.

A common preconception of chemists is that they are locked up in laboratories all day, performing experiments dressed in white coats. Well, some are, but it is really a creative job with lots of opportunities.

After chemical studies you can work in numerous different industries. You can cure diseases, make perfume or create new materials for clothes. You can develop green fuels, make balls bouncy or investigate crime scenes. Anything, really.

Perstorp is a great place to start
As a chemical company, Perstorp employ analytical chemists, chemical engineers and process engineers with different specialties.

Working for Perstorp has many advantages. Although present in many different countries, we are considered a small company. This means you are never anonymous – what you do really count. And wherever you start, there are many careers to pursuit. You can become a specialist in your field, work in sales or marketing, or maybe develop you management skills. Thanks to our global presence, you can also work and live abroad if you wish.

And how do we change the world?  We make other products better. Greener. Safer.
